Compatibility Note A.56

BCT, HCL

Accumulator Format Stored in Hyper Call Stack Frame

V300 The Accumulator is stored in memory with a proper format. If it is all zeros, it is converted into the standard zero format, i.e. D99C 0000000000000000. If needed, the sign of the exponent and/or the sign of the mantissa is/are changed to the standard EBCDIC signed numeric format (C = positive, D = negative).
V500 The Accumulator is stored in memory as is. No check or modification is performed on the data written into memory.
