AF is unused and reserved.

Function

The Idle Processor instruction causes the processor to change from EXECUTING mode to IDLE mode.

A processor in IDLE mode is sensitive to ALL Condition Interrupts.

Whenever an IDLE processor responds to an interrupt it performs an Interrupt Procedure.

This instruction may only be executed with Privileged Enable set or an Invalid Instruction (IEX = 02) fault is reported.

Comparison Flags

The Comparison Flags are not affected by this instruction.

Overlap

Field overlap is not applicable to this instruction.
